
John DiMaggio is a voice-over actor. He is best known for voicing drunken robot Bender on Futurama and the adventure-loving Jake the Dog on Adventure Time.
Voice-Over Work[]
DiMaggio provides the voice for Bender (full name: Bender Bending Rodriguez) on the animated series Futurama from 1998 to present. Bender is the best friend of protagonist Philip J. Fry (usually simply called Fry). He works for the interstellar delivery company Planet Express.
DiMaggio also voices Jake the Dog, one of the two main characters on Adventure Time. Jake the Dog is shown as an older adoptive brother to Finn the Human in the Land of Ooo (which is shown to be on a version of Earth centuries after an apocalypse).

- The show Futurama are referenced in the episode in the episode "Bible Fruit." Shake suggests that the show is only available at "Carl Central" alluding to the re-runs on [adult swim] prior to the show moving to Comedy Central.
- DiMaggio provided the voice for Jake the Dog's cameo on Futurama as a reference to his role as Bender and Jake.
