Would anyone happen to know what the song that Meatwad is parodying in the beginning is? Siberian99 (talk) 05:10, November 23, 2013 (UTC)

Actually, I believe it's an original piece of music. The melody behind Meatwad's vocals plays often in the show. Examples include Meatwad's speech about Rainbows in "Escape from Leprechaupolis" and Meatwad's speech about the importance (or quite possibly the lack of importance) of Carl's life at the Steel Pithon in the film. I'll do a little more research (and by "research" I mean consulting Google and the Volume 6 DVD commentaries) on this subject, but I believe it is in fact an original piece of music. Are you sure? The background music used when Meatwad talks about rainbows in Escape from Leprechaupolis sounds different compared to the one used when Meatwad is singing to Terrance in Reedickyoulus. Searching for information on Google seems to imply that it may be a conglomeration ( of a number of songs, ending with lyrics from Mean Street.
Perhaps I was mistaken then. Well, in this case I don't know, and I apologize for my mistake. Edd Shwartz (talk) 05:21, November 24, 2013 (UTC)Edd Shwartz
I was watching a video about Chinese cooking and I noticed that they played a tune in the background that Meatwad was singing too in Reedickyoulus. I am also curious as to what the song is. Here is the video and the music starts around 12:00.

In that case, I have no idea where it came from. We may never solve this mystery. Sorry I couldn't be of more help. --Edd Shwartz (talk) 20:27, June 27, 2016 (UTC)

The song Meatwad is singing to in Reedickyoulus is called "Somewhere That's Green" from the movie Little Shop of Horrors, but the lyrics are changed.Dlots1969 (talk) 05:06, October 1, 2017 (UTC)
